Karen Parker Moeller
Editorial graphic illustrations use metaphorical concepts to communicate our clients’ message(s). Well executed visual metaphors have the power to engage the reader. Sometimes they even inspire and bring a smile!
My unique style combines realistic elements with flat shapes and patterns in bright color palettes. The objective is always to produce beautiful attention getting images, while imparting information and expressing complex ideas.
My illustrations range from serious topics to whimsical animals with nature as a prime source of inspiration. They have appeared on magazine covers, posters, brochures, event collateral and digital signage. In the examples below, topics include living with limitations, technology and risk, diversity, depression, environment and disease, medicine and protection. See also our Graphic Design section for more examples of graphic illustration.
